The Stubbs Sauce Varieties

The legend of Bar B Que stretches from coast to coast across the United States, with every regional location preferring to season their meat in a slightly different way. Even though the styles of Bar B Que sauces can be quite disparate from place to place, there are a few acknowledged masters of the art of making a quality sauce. One of these was Christopher Stubblefield, who invented the Stubbs Sauces line of products. His ability to cook and grill meat was known all across his home state of Texas and most other states as well. Since his time as a restaurateur, the Stubbs Sauces have become available from grocery stores anywhere in the nation.

Stubblefield was involved in Bar B Que restaurants from 1968 until his death in 1995. In recognition of his contributions to the art of grilling, Stubblefield received a statue on the site of his first restaurant. One of his locations still exists in the city of Austin where visitors can sample the many delicacies that the cook created. For the sauces, a person only needs to look in their closest supermarket to see the different varieties. There are six main types that were created to meet the taste demands of different diners. They are the Original Bar B Que, Smokey Mesquite, Hickory Boubon, Mild, Honey Pecan, and Spicy.

Stubbs Sauces product line also consists of other special recipes. There are marinades that sever as chicken wings sauce as well as a number of dry rubs that can be used on meat. The types of dry rubs are rosemary ginger, chile lime, burger, herbal mustard, and the traditional Memphis Bar B Que rub. All of the products sold in the Stubbs Sauce line use natural ingredients and all of the BBQ sauce variations are gluten free.
